Ruimtebeslag - Vlaanderen - toestand 2019

Deze kaart geeft voor iedere 10m-cel binnen het Vlaamse Gewest een aanduiding of deze wel of niet behoort tot het ruimtebeslag, en dit voor toestandsjaar 2019.

Het concept ‘ruimtebeslag’ is gedefinieerd in het Witboek Beleidsplan Ruimte als dat deel van de ruimte waarin de biofysische functie niet langer de belangrijkste is. Het gaat, met andere woorden, over de ruimte die ingenomen worden door onze nederzettingen (dus voor huisvesting, industriële en commerciële doeleinden, transportinfrastructuur, recreatieve doeleinden en ook parken en tuinen). Deze definitie is gebaseerd op de definitie die de Europese Commissie hanteert voor ‘settlement area’ of ‘artificial land’, namelijk "the area of land used for housing, industrial and commercial purposes, health care, education, nursing infrastructure, roads and rail networks, recreation (parks and sports grounds), etc. In land use planning, it usually corresponds to all land uses beyond agriculture, semi-natural areas, forestry, and water bodies." (EC, 2012).

Het ruimtebeslag , zoals hier samengesteld, is gebaseerd op de 4 niveaus van het 'landgebruiksbestand 2019'. Meer bepaald wordt het ruimtebeslag gedefinieerd door een combinatie van een aantal landgebruikscategorieën op de verschillende niveaus.

Other constraints In uitvoering van het Vlaamse decreet voor hergebruik van overheidsinformatie, is het hergebruik geregeld d.m.v. de Modellicentie voor gratis hergebruik. Dit betekent dat elk commercieel of niet-commercieel hergebruik voor onbepaalde duur is toegelaten, zonder dat daar kosten aan verbonden zijn. Als enige gebruiksvoorwaarde geldt een bronvermeldingsplicht.
